Seasonal mama

I am so glad that you gals have been praying for me, I can honestly say that I knew both of you would.  I think that in times of need, we are blessed if we have strong, praying people in our lives to uplift us in prayers.  Thank you both from the bottom of my heart.

We had chicken cacciatore for dinner tonight with pasta.  It was yummy.  I think that is in my top 5 of favorite dishes.  Favorite desserts vary with the season, however, I love fresh fruit!

I am ready for summer.  We haven’t had a good winter because the temps are mainly warm, snows are few and not very heavy at all.  So, I am ready to play outside.  I am thinking of having a butterfly garden this year in a corner of the yard.  I ordered all of the flower magazines I could find online.  I should get my brace off in time to enjoy the summer.  As long as I don’t break it again.  You are at a greater risk within the first year of breaking the bone again than any other time.  We were planning on going back to Disney this year, but I don’t know if we will now.  I would be perfectly fine with not riding anything but hubby didn’t want to go unless I could ride also.  We may be waiting until next year to go back.  That is such a wonderful place that I would live there when hubby retires!

I forgot to tell you that I can take my brace off to bathe.  It feels really good when you first take it off because you can scratch the itchies.  The longer it is off, the more it hurts though.  But boy does it feel good to scratch!  I have bumped my arm several times today so it is hurting more than it has in a few days at least.  Hopefully a good nights rest will cure it.  Until next time, as Paula Deen says, Best dishes from my kitchen to yours!
